About Event
The inaugural Hawaiʻi School on Internet Governance (HiSIG), launching September 2026, aims to build digital capacity and awareness across Hawaiʻi and the Pacific. Part of a global network, the program explores critical themes including the Multistakeholder Model, digital equity, and the "State of the Internet" featuring keynote speaker Vint Cerf. Participants will engage with experts from ICANN, ISOC, and the IGF to address trust, safety, and AI risk. The HiSIG aims to empower regional leaders to shape a secure, inclusive digital future while strengthening our community’s "pilina" (connections) within the global governance landscape.
