Join us for a slow-paced day hike to Mount Taurus in picturesque Cold Spring...the perfect chance to connect with nature & other city girls this spring. This hike will be led by Sheila, a NYS licensed outdoor guide who has the coolest hiking Instagram to boot (@hikenmingle).
@girlsgonehikingnyc is a city girl's hike club designed to build sisterhood on the trail by organizing slow-paced day hikes accessible by public transit from NYC.

Hike Time: 2.5-3 Hours
Difficulty: Moderate
Distance: 4.3 Miles
Day of Itinerary:
8:30am: Meet @ Grand Central Terminal to catch the 8:56am Metro Train North 8811 headed towards Poughkeepsie (tickets are $15 each way, available for purchase through the MTA app)
10:15am: Arrive at Cold Spring Station and start hiking from Little Stony Point
2:00pm: Afterwards, feel free to grab a bite to eat in town or catch the train back to Grand Central (there’s typically one every 60 minutes)
What to bring: 1-2L of water, comfortable shoes, snacks, & a friend if you want!
