Talk Story with Shaka Tribe
Join your incubator ʻohana and Shaka Tribe creators, cultural artist, Sam Mangakahia, and Chalei, for a morning of connection, coffee, and pupus.
May this conversation inspire ideas around connecting your values and culture in your business, art, and brand story.
About the artist
Sam Mangakahia, an Australian-born now based in Kahuku, has spent the past 13 years sharing his cultural artwork with collectors and musicians worldwide, including prominent Polynesian artists such as Iam Tongi, Kolohe Kai, Josh Tatofi, and Stan Walker. Celebrated for his intricate Polynesian-inspired carvings on guitars, ukuleles, and various other mediums, Sam's work pays homage to the rich history and artistic traditions of his Polynesian culture, masterfully weaving together ancestral and modern stories.
Driven by a mission to inspire people to live true to their values, Sam, and his wife Chalei, started Shaka Tribe to be a powerful reminder of the importance of cultural heritage and authenticity.
