​This month at Storytime for Caregivers we’ll be chatting with Amanda Montei, author of Touched Out: Motherhood, Misogyny, Consent, and Control, a work of memoir and cultural criticism. The LA Review of Books writes, “Montei deftly reveals the web of outrageous expectations, contradictions, and impossibility that is the institution of motherhood in the United States today.” As always, babies are welcome at this series, but not required!
