Sketch Club: Miniature Figure Drawing

​Black Hippie Art Sketch Club is a creative gathering for BIPOC artists looking to build community, connect with likeminded creators, and make space for joy through art. Whether you’re a seasoned illustrator or just picking up a pencil again, this meetup offers a relaxed environment to sketch, share ideas, and be in community with other artists of color. Supplies are provided, and entry is FREE—all you need to bring is yourself and your creativity. During this session, we will do "figure drawing" by sketching mini wooden mannequins in stylized setup.

​Utility Works at 32 E. Baltimore Ave, Lansdowne, PA, has nearby municipal parking on Highland and Lansdowne Avenues for $0.25 per hour. Street parking (2-hour limit) is available for $1.00/hour via kiosks or the ParkMobile app (24/7, except Sundays/holidays). The site is near SEPTA bus routes (109, 113, 115) and the train station.
