About Event

Join us at Puʻuhonua o Waimānalo, the land base of the Nation of Hawaiʻi, for monthly Aloha ʻĀina Community Workdays, where we care for our ahupuaʻa, restore ʻāina, and strengthen our lāhui in the pursuit of Hawaiian sovereignty and self-determination.

These workdays are central to the Nation of Hawaiʻi’s mission to rebuild sustainable communities rooted in cultural practice, land stewardship, and collective responsibility.

Through hands-on mālama ʻāina work, we restore agricultural sites and streams, clear invasive species, plant native trees and food sources, and maintain the puʻuhonua as a living space for cultural renewal and community resilience.

Community workdays are held every every last Saturday from 10:00am to 2:00pm. RSVP is required.

Important Gate Note:
The site is gated. Please arrive before 10AM as it helps reduce the need for escorts in and out. Late arrivals may need to wait to be let in.
