Lovable Meetup Toronto (Aug) w/ The Viral AI & Rootly AI
Trying to build with AI, but realizing the product is only half the battle?
Join us for the next Lovable Meetup Toronto at Rootly HQ.
AI has made it easier than ever to build. But once the first version exists, harder questions show up:
How do you find customers, price your product, and make sales?
And how do you explain what you built so people actually care?
This month, we are bringing together founders, builders, PMs, designers, creators, and curious people to explore both sides of that challenge:
Turning a product into a real business
Turning a complicated idea into a clear, compelling story
You’ll meet people building with Lovable, hear practical lessons from two experienced entrepreneurs, and get a chance to show what you are working on.
Who is this for?
Engineers, designers, PMs, founders, creators, students, operators, teachers, and anyone curious about building with Lovable.
Whether you are technical or non-technical, just starting out or already shipping, you are welcome.
Featured Speaker #1: Sukhpal Saini
Talk: Founder Coffee Chats: The Questions Behind Building a Company
Sukhpal Saini is a serial entrepreneur, technical founder, and self-described “Distribution Guy.”
Over the past 10 years, he has shipped 38 products, built products generating approximately $500K in combined sales, and exited his e-commerce startup Reetail.
He is currently the Founder and CEO of Engyne and Technical CEO of Carousel Studio, which is building the top-rated Canva app with more than 40 million views. He was also part of Techstars 2024.
In this session, Sukh will answer recurring questions from his founder coffee chats:
How do you price your product? How do you run a sales call? How do you find customers? When should you leave your job and go all-in?
Expect an honest conversation about building, selling, distribution, and the lessons learned from products that worked and plenty that did not.

Featured Speaker #2: Aleksandra Phelan
Talk: Founder’s Story: How to Explain What You’re Building So People Care
Most founders spend months building their product, but only minutes thinking about how they explain it.
Aleksandra Phelan helps founders turn complex ideas into compelling stories that build trust, attract attention, and open doors.
She is the Founder and Principal Advisor of Phelan Strategic Consulting, where she advises founders and growth-stage companies on positioning, media strategy, and thought leadership.
With more than 15 years of experience, Aleksandra has worked with venture-backed startups, Silicon Valley leaders, global brands, and world-class athletes. She also teaches founder storytelling and media strategy with the Toronto Public Library.
In this practical session, she will share frameworks founders can use when speaking to customers, pitching investors, meeting journalists, or introducing themselves at their next event.
