A Quirk-tastic Central Park Color Scavenger Hunt
This is not a test.
This is not a competition.
This is good, colorful fun.
Join me for a delightfully curious, low-pressure Color Scavenger Hunt in Central Park—a playful, neurodivergent-welcoming outdoor experience designed to help people connect through observation, creativity, and shared exploration.
This is one of my community experiences: intentionally structured, gently guided, and rooted in curiosity rather than performance.
You’ll leave having shared a gentle experience with new people, noticed the park in a new way, and felt what low-pressure connection can actually feel like.
No speed. No winners. No pressure to “do it right.”
Just color, movement, and connection.
✨ How It Works
When you arrive, I’ll place you into a small group (no one is left on their own, promise 🫶).
Each group will receive a color prompt
You’ll wander through Central Park together, noticing and identifying items, textures, or moments that match your color
After a short round, you’ll return, receive a new color, and head back out again
The experience is time-bound and gently facilitated, with clear transitions between rounds.
You’re always welcome to take breaks, step away, or leave early—no explanations needed.
Some colors will feel obvious.
Some will make you pause.
Some will spark debate—and that’s part of the joy.
I’ll walk everyone through the logistics at the start so it’s clear and easy.
This experience is about curiosity and collaboration, not perfection. You don’t need special skills. You don’t need to be “creative.” You just need to show up open and willing to explore.
🌈 Who This Is For
🎨 People who enjoy noticing details, color, and the world around them
🚶 Folks who like gentle movement (folks in wheelchairs, canes and crutches included!!) and being outdoors
🤝 Anyone who wants to meet others in a low-pressure, non-awkward way
💡 Neurodivergent, neurotypical, and neurocurious humans alike
My events are what you make of them—so come ready to be kind, curious, and your most authentic self.
💚 Why I Host Events Like This
I design experiences that help people slow down, observe differently, and connect without pressure.
Color is a powerful tool for that. It invites curiosity, lowers stakes, and makes room for multiple “right” answers.
This scavenger hunt is a reminder that:
Exploration can be joyful
There’s no failure in noticing
Community makes everything richer
Expect wandering, laughter, moments of “Wait… I never saw that before,” and lots of small delights hiding in plain sight.
🌦️ Weather Note (Please Read)
This is an outdoor event in Central Park.
I’ll monitor the weather closely
Any updates or adjustments will be communicated the day before or the day of the event
My goal is always to prioritize safety, comfort, and a good experience
Please dress for being outside and check your email before heading out.
