About Event

A special morning of Japanese seasonal home cooking hosted by two neighbours who share a deep love for Japanese food.

We will make onigiri two ways, miso soup, Japanese pickles, nasu dengaku, seasonal tofu and a sukiyaki pot. To finish, a pear compote with ice cream. Saori will share the building blocks of Japanese home cooking that you can adapt and recreate at home all year round.

We cook and eat together, learning useful kitchen skills and making meaningful connections. Joy Cook Club is a true community cooking experience.
