Title: Combining Quantum Computing with Physics-Informed AI for Accelerating Simulations
Description: we are training Hybrid Quantum Physics-Informed AI models (Hybrid-QPINN/QPINO) framework designed to accelerate complex Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and multiphysics simulations, specific for Czochralski silicon crystal growth as the main benchmark studies.
By combining classical neural networks with shallow parameterized quantum circuits—enhanced via Fourier feature mappings and data re-uploading—the model aims to better capture strongly coupled non-linear transport fields (velocity, temperature, concentration, and evolving interfaces) while addressing classical PINN limitations like spectral bias.
These methodologies are for two industrially relevant CFD applications: silicon crystal growth, where coupled thermal convection and melt flow strongly influence defect formation, and liquid hydrogen (LH₂) boil-off in cryogenic vessels, characterized by turbulent natural convection, heat transfer, and phase-change phenomena.
These studies highlights the potential of quantum-enhanced physics AI as a scalable pathway toward next-generation CFD, enabling faster parametric exploration and real-time digital twins for advanced manufacturing and cryogenic energy systems.
