About Event

Join us for the Software Mansion's Mobile & AI Meetup in San Francisco, a developer event about what actually changes when coding agents join your mobile engineering workflow to build real-life projects you can later use in RevenueCat's Shipathon.

We've got practical talks lined up from Expo, Software Mansion, and Runbook, and we'll finish off with a quick brainstorming session on how to use AI agents in building real-life projects.

Agenda:

6:30 PM Doors open

6:45 PM Eval-Driven Development - Varun Dhananjaya & Zhi Pan, Runbook

Real-world business processes are complex and under-documented. So how do you build agents that perform them well? This talk walks through how a rich evaluation set of backtests and unit tests can help you uncover deep tribal knowledge and evolve your agents without regressions.

7:00 PM Closing the Loop in Mobile Agentic Development – Kacper Kapuściak, Software Mansion

We built Radon to help React Native developers see inside their apps. Then we noticed fewer people wanted to write code by hand and more wanted an agent to do it, so we took that same debugging knowledge and rebuilt it for agents instead. Meet Argent: an MCP server that lets Claude Code, Cursor, and other coding agents control the iOS Simulator and Android emulator directly. In this talk, we’ll show Argent closing the loop live, an agent reproducing a bug, diagnosing it, and fixing it in one session.

7:20 PM Tuft: your agent's computer – Eliot Hertenstein, Expo

7:45 PM - 9 PM Pizza, beer, networking

Shipaton (shipaton.com) is RevenueCat’s global mobile hackathon for builders who actually ship. From August 1 to September 30, developers around the world will build brand-new iOS, Android, or Mac apps, launch them to real app stores, and use RevenueCat to power their app’s monetization. This IRL meetup is a chance to connect with local builders, find teammates, get inspired, and start shipping together as part of the broader Shipaton community.
