AI Safety Action Weeks February Edition
AI Safety Action Weeks Are Back: Feb’26 Edition
After a strong kickoff in January, AI Safety Action Weeks return this February with a new focus and deeper conversations.
Our January edition introduced a hands-on, beginner-friendly space to explore AI safety beyond buzzwords. Together, we tested a learning-by-doing format built around short sessions, light quests, and community discussion.
This February, we’re building on that momentum.
February Theme: Our Identity and AI
This edition explores how AI intersects with our cultures, languages, and futures as Africans and members of the diaspora. Rather than starting with technical prerequisites, we turn to questions of representation, power, and locally grounded innovation.
