Tribe Celebrates Día de los Muertos 🕯️💀🌸✨
Friends! You're invited to an unforgettable evening where we honor a tradition from my home country of Mexico - Día de los Muertos! 💀🌸✨
This night is all about celebrating life, remembrance, and connection in the most vibrant and colorful way possible! Whether you're familiar with the tradition or new to it, this gathering is about honoring the memory of our loved ones and connecting with each other over cherished stories from the past.
Rules for our celebration:
Bring a contribution to our community altar - ideally a memento or an object that represents a loved one who has passed on. Think photos, favorite items, or anything that reminds you of them. Together, we'll build a beautiful altar in their honor! 🕯️💐
Bring a short story about your loved one - join us for a storytelling circle where we’ll share light-hearted stories and memories of those we hold dear. A space for meaningful connection, laughter, and maybe even some tears. 🌼🎤
Things to keep in mind:
You can bring a friend! Everyone’s welcome to join but make sure they register via Luma!
Light treats and non-alcoholic refreshments will be provided to keep the energy up as we honor and celebrate, but feel free to bring a food or beverage item that reminds you of a loved one!
BYO Spirits (pun intended)! Let’s raise a toast to our loved ones who have passed, celebrating their lives and keeping their memory alive in our hearts! 🍷🥂
Attire - Feel free to come in Día de los Muertos-inspired attire—think colorful florals, playful skeletons, or anything festive and bright! 🎨
Arrive by 7.30pm if you want to join us for the altar-building activity. It is ok to arrive late, but trust us, you won't want to miss it!
Let’s celebrate life, honor those we’ve loved, and make new memories that’ll last! This night will be full of warmth, laughter, and new friendships! 🎉💀🌸
With Love,
Tatiana
