yarn club: floral weaving wild with neroli soft
during this beginner floral weaving workshop, you are invited to gently weave dried botanicals and soft fibers into a tapestry of your own making🌱
during your experience, you will be guided through the foundational steps of frame loom weaving from setting up your loom to creating a small handwoven floral wall hanging infused with elements of nature and beauty. this creative mindful experience offers a space for wander, exploration, and play as you journey through the meditative world of weaving 🌸
all materials will be provided. You will also go home with your small frame loom kit, yarn, and a Floral Weaving guidebook. The guidebook will include instructions for finishing your piece if it is not completed during the Floral Weaving experience.
meet the artist! LaShaun is a Well-being Worker and Ceremonial Wild Weaver with a passion for mental health, creative expression, and spirituality. LaShaun’s work centers supporting individuals and communities by using various healing and fiber arts practices. LaShaun’s work is guided by principles of inclusivity and arts and public health. She has worked with mental health organizations, non-profits, colleges, and more.
