Should we pause AI development? πŸ€–

"AI development has recently hit a level of capability that shows, once again, our society just isn't prepared for the trajectory we're on. Major parts of the internet and the machines we use every day are at risk now. We have a super capable AI identifying vulnerabilities that experts haven't noticed for decades. This doesn't just show what a very intelligent entity is already doing, it's the exact sign you would get when you're on track for disaster."

Join us for an evening with Marnix van der Schoot from Pause AI, who will walk us through recent developments, the case for pausing AI development, and what a realistic strategy for doing so might look like.

The talk will be followed by a Q&A and facilitated discussion and drinks at CREA afterwards.
