One Shot Prompts
Registration will open soon
One prompt. Whatever comes back is what you show.
Normally you talk your way there. Prompt, read it, prompt again, nudge it for a hourS until it is close enough. Tonight you get one prompt and you live with the result.
That puts all the weight on the brief, which should feel familiar. How you frame the problem. What you leave out. What you ask for first. Design thinking with a much shorter deadline and no sticky notes.
Mostly it is for the laugh. Some of it will be rubbish, some will blow the room away, and someone will quietly build something that solves a problem that actually matters. All three make a good night.
How it runs
Forty minutes. Any AI, any idea, one prompt. An app, a game, a pitch, a service, a dating app for dogs.
Sharing is optional. Show it quietly to the people at your table, or take the lectern for 3 three minutes: the prompt, your tactic in a sentence or two, and what you made.
No judges, no winner. The honest failures get the biggest cheer.
Some of you will write your prompt in five minutes and spend the other thirty five with a kombucha. Some will be sweating the whole time. We will find out which strategy wins.
The rules
One prompt. Any model, any tool, any setup.
Your agent can ask you things. If your workflow is a back and forth with clarifying questions, answer them. That is your tactic, not a second go.
No iterating on the result. What it hands back is what you show.
Show your working. The prompt goes up on screen with the thing you built.
Who it is for
Designers, product people, founders, developers, and anyone who likes making things in public. No experience needed. The first-timers are usually the most fun to watch.
