About Event

🌱 Grab your favorite beverage and get ready to build something genuinely useful.

Everyday AI: Build Something Useful is a free, beginner-friendly virtual workshop series for people who are ready to stop simply hearing about AI and start using it.

You’ll choose a guided everyday project from the AI Builder Kit and follow a clear, step-by-step pathway with sample information, copy-and-paste prompts, recommended tools, and live guidance from Felisha.

No technical background is required. Just come curious and ready to build. Should have basic comfort using a laptop, opening websites, and following online instructions.

🌻 THREE WAYS TO BUILD WITH ME

THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 24 | 6:00–8:30 P.M. CT
CORE WORKSHOP

Thursday is where we begin. Felisha will introduce the AI Builder Kit and demonstrate the building process using a shared sample. Then you’ll:

• Choose a guided project
• Define your Minimum Useful Build
• Learn a repeatable AI-building process
• Begin creating your first version
• Review and improve your AI output
• Leave with something useful and a clear next step

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 25 | 6:00–8:30 P.M. CT
BUILDER LAB

Return to continue Thursday’s project or choose another guided project from the Kit. Friday gives you protected time to:

• Continue building
• Personalize your project
• Test and correct your results
• Expand what you created
• Make meaningful progress with support available

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 26 | 9:00–11:30 A.M. CT
BEHIND THE BUILD + SHOWCASE

On Saturday, Felisha will take you behind the scenes of the AI Builder Kit—the same resource you’ll use throughout the series.

You’ll see how the Kit moved from an idea to a working learning experience, including the planning, tools, decisions, testing, and revisions that shaped it.

You’ll also have time to:

• Continue building your guided project
• Join an optional participant showcase
• Share what you created and what you learned
• Continue in a guided, quiet, or collaborative build space

🌿 CHOOSE HOW YOU WANT TO BUILD

Different people learn and work in different ways. During the build sessions, you can choose the environment that works best for you.

GUIDED ROOM BUILD

Stay with Felisha in the main room, follow the project steps and demonstrations, ask clarifying questions, and continue building with live guidance.

QUIET BUILD

Work independently in a focused space using the instructions and resources inside the AI Builder Kit.

COLLABORATIVE BUILD

Build alongside other participants, exchange ideas, compare approaches, and learn together.

You’ll also decide how much personal information you want to use. You can complete your guided project with your own information, combine your information with one of the provided samples, or use a complete fictional sample while learning the process.

🪴 THE AI BUILDER KIT

During the series, you’ll use the AI Builder Kit—a collection of guided project pathways created around practical, everyday needs.

Depending on the project, your pathway may include:

• Preparation steps
• Complete fictional samples
• Copy-and-paste prompts
• Recommended AI tools
• Instructions for moving information between tools
• Review and fact-checking checkpoints
• Common-mistake guidance
• Ideas for continuing your build

The goal is to help you become more comfortable using AI as a practical collaborator—not simply a search engine with extra steps.

🌿 WHAT COMES NEXT: THE AI BUILDER CIRCLE

We’ll close the series with a preview of the AI Builder Circle—a peer-powered learning community being developed for people who want to keep building, exchanging ideas, sharing projects and prompts, learning from one another, and participating in future group build sessions.

Felisha will share the vision for the Circle, explain what it may include, and invite founding-cohort participants to express interest and help shape what comes next.

💛 LIMITED SEATS MAX 20

Participation is limited to 20 people so the group remains small enough for meaningful guidance and personal attention. Because space is limited, please reserve a seat only if you genuinely intend to participate.

Thursday’s Core Workshop provides the foundation for the series. You may attend Thursday only, return for Friday or Saturday, or join us for the complete three-session experience.

Come curious. Choose one useful thing. Start building. We’ll grow from there. 🌿
