About Event

What: A Bay Area Nix meetup. Come to learn and hack, and meet fellow Nixers, or learn more about Nix if your’e curious! This month we will try to get a head-start to the zero hydra failures for 26.05 release cycle.

Summer break starts in June and our next meetup at the OCF will be in September. We have plans to host the meetup in SF for June, July and August in a venue appropriate for hacking.

When: Friday May 1st, 2026 6:00 PM

Where: The OCF computer lab at MLK Student Union (2495 Bancroft Way, Berkeley, CA 94720)

How to get inside:

Follow directions to Goldie’s Coffee (on Google Maps). That will take you into the Student Union via a public entrance.
Inside, you’ll find a front desk. Ask for instructions to the OCF computer lab. Show them this post and tell them you’re attending the event.
