✨💛Greater Boston Book Discussion | November 2025
Welcome to our Greater Boston Book Discussion for November 2025!
We are amped for local author & Wellesley Professor James Morton Turner to join us to discuss his award-winning book, Charged: A History of Batteries and Lessons for a Clean Energy Future! To bring our discussion up to the present, host Alexa Jackson will share trends from the recent The Battery Show North America. We will also have dedicated time for relationship building - come to connect and reconnect with other womxn interested in climate.
FYI: The book is only 180 pages, and you don't need to read all of them to attend! Reading at least the intro and one of the chapters is highly recommended, but not required.
This event is open to all women & nonbinary folks interested in learning & talking about climate, whether you are starting out on your sustainability journey or a seasoned climate leader. Prior participation in WAC is not required. Join us in a relaxed, welcoming space to build community, learn, & spark change!
Hosts: This event will be organized by WAC City Lead Alexa Jackson
