About Event
A hands-on CAD workshop exploring how digital design and 3D printing are used across biomedical engineering, biotechnology and healthcare.
Students will be introduced to the process of translating real medical or laboratory challenges into practical, 3D-printable designs. Using guided examples and anatomical or technical references, participants will develop their own CAD model while learning key concepts such as dimensions, tolerances, fit and design for manufacture.
No extensive previous CAD experience is required, making it an opportunity to develop practical design skills while exploring how CAD can be applied to real biomedical problems.
The event is not catered - however packaged snacks will be provided.
