From Science to Entrepreneurship: How Can a Student Get Started?
Join us for an inspiring panel discussion at LIFT99 Tallinn, where we’ll explore how students and young scientists can take their first steps from academia into entrepreneurship. Whether you’re part of a student organization, an aspiring founder, or simply curious about how scientific ideas can turn into real-world impact — this event is for you! ✨
What to Expect:
The evening will consist of topics such as:
Why is it worth joining a student organization, and how can that experience shape your entrepreneurial journey?
Can (and how) student organizations and startups benefit from each other?
How do you build a strong team and find the right collaborators or sponsors?
What are the first steps to bring an idea to life?
How can the skills gained from student-led projects translate into success in the startup world?
Moderated by Karl-Ander Kasuk, electrochemistry PhD candidate at the University of Tartu and former Nucleate member, the discussion will feature panelists from different backgrounds who have successfully bridged the gap between science and entrepreneurship.
🎤 Meet Our Panelists:
Andres Nöps (RayFoil, Solaride), Renno Raudmäe (SemuBot), Sirli Sarapuu (ESTCube, Estonian Student Rocket) and Vladislav Musakko (TalTech’s Hydrogen Organization)
