AI-GENERATED CODE == CODE YOU CAN TRUST?

The hard part about AI-generated code is making it reliable. How do you create agents that hold up in production, and produce code you can trust when a machine wrote it?
We'll look at it from two fronts:
Harness engineering — the scaffolding that turns a model into an agent. Only one layer of an AI agent is the model; the rest is the harness — orchestration, memory, tool design, evaluation, retries, observability. The scaffolding that turns a capable model into a dependable autonomous agent + a look at DeepSeek's Open-Source AI Agent Framework
AI code review & CI automation. Code review has become the bottleneck — reviewing pull requests with full-codebase context, rooting out CI failures, and committing real fixes, including catching the issues AI-generated code introduces.
Speakers from Sonar and AI Singapore
Terence Kong, AI Engineer and AIxTech Curriculum Lead at AI Singapore
Hector Tan, AI Engineer and AIxTech Community Lead at AI Singapore
Gautam Korlam, Principal Engineer at Sonar, a global leader in AI code verification and governance. Gautam joined Sonar through the 2026 acquisition of Gitar, the AI-native code review solution that he co-founded. He previously helped build Uber's centralised developer platform, working on the monorepo, building infrastructure, and CI systems that underpin software delivery at scale. At Sonar, Gautam is helping shape the next generation of AI-powered code review and verification for engineering teams operating at scale.
This is an in-person event.
Please note: AIxTech learners are given priority to seats, These folks paid for the programme and these meetups are part of it — and that applies to every meetup under AIxTech, not just this one. More on AIxTech: https://aisingapore.org/aixtech/ .
If you're an existing AIxTech learner, RSVP using the same email as your AIxTech account.
If you’re not an AIxTech learner, we'll approve your RSVP as best we can according to the queue and from the details you provide. The more complete your RSVP and verifiable your identity is,, the easier it is for us to place you.
Organiser: AI Singapore
AI Singapore (AISG) is Singapore's national programme in artificial intelligence, launched by the National Research Foundation (NRF) to anchor deep national capabilities in AI. Hosted at NTU and NUS, AI Singapore brings together Singapore-based research institutions and the vibrant ecosystem of AI start-ups and companies to perform user-inspired research, grow knowledge, create tools, and develop the talent to power Singapore's AI efforts.
Supported by: Digital Industry Singapore (DISG)
Digital Industry Singapore (DISG) is set up as the single interface of the Singapore government for the digital industry, since 2019. It leads the development of a thriving Infocomm and Media (I&C) industry by encouraging technology companies to create competitive products and services from Singapore, for Asia and beyond.
