Founder's Education Kick Off: Session 1
Sigma Eta Pi (SEP) is Carnegie Mellon University’s entrepreneurship fraternity. We bring together students from across all colleges who are interested in building projects, exploring ideas entrepreneurially, and learning by doing. SEP is not about having a startup coming in; it’s about developing the skills and mindset to turn interests into real, tangible work.
Founder's Education is SEP’s hands-on, build-first program for new members. FE focuses on the parts of entrepreneurship that matter in practice: understanding real problems, talking to customers, testing assumptions, iterating quickly, and shipping without overbuilding.
Rush is SEP’s open recruitment process. Students are encouraged to attend info sessions, participate in LaunchPad kickoff events, and get to know members through open Ship-It sessions before applying. No prior experience or idea is required.
