KRÄFTSKIVA 2026 | A Swedish Late Summer Celebration in Mexico City
Every year, as summer slowly comes to an end, Swedes gather around long tables illuminated by lanterns to celebrate one of Sweden's most beloved traditions: the Kräftskiva, or crayfish party.
This August, we're bringing that tradition to the heart of Polanco.
Join us for an evening of Swedish culture, food, music, laughter and community as we recreate the atmosphere of a traditional Swedish late summer celebration — complete with crayfish, aquavit, snaps songs and long communal tables.
Whether you're Swedish, Scandinavian, part of a Swedish-Mexican family, or simply curious to experience one of Sweden's most unique cultural traditions, you're warmly welcome.

About Kräftskiva
For many Swedes, Kräftskiva represents something more than a dinner. It is a celebration of friendship, togetherness and the final magical weeks of summer before autumn arrives.
We're excited to share this tradition with Mexico City.
Skål and welcome! 🇸🇪🥂
