Georgetown University Poster Symposium: Environment and Sustainability Management
Join Georgetown University's MS in Environmental Sustainability Program for an interdisciplinary, sustainability-focused poster session!
The MS in Environment and Sustainability Management program blends environmental science and business coursework and practice to prepare students to meet global sustainability challenges. As part of their final environmental science course, students will be crafting an interdisciplinary, synthesis-based research project on any facet of sustainability to present to the broader sustainability community in the DC area. We invite local sustainability scholars, professionals, and practitioners to join us on campus and hear from our students about their ideas for new approaches in sustainability.
The MS-ESM cohort will host a conference-style poster session to communicate the results of their work from 3:00-5:00pm on April 24th. Please join us at any time during this time; though the event starts at 3:00pm with a welcome, students will be continuously presenting their work throughout the session.
The event will be followed by a happy hour-style networking session with visiting professionals and practitioners, in the same space from 5:00-6:00pm, where students have the opportunity to ask questions about visitors' experiences in different career pathways in the field.
