​"Do you mind working on a product used by only 10 people?" – This question came up when I was applying for work at ICEYE. While many designers would probably have turned down such a project, I said yes and haven't regretted it for a second. What we do here has a real impact on the ground for millions of people affected by floods, hurricanes, and wildfires every year.

​Arek is a seasoned design leader with 12 years of experience. He spent the last 4 years at ICEYE developing products used by natural disaster response teams worldwide. These products help mitigate risk before an event, adjust response during, and assess loss after a natural catastrophe. He's also a co-creator of Fundament, a product design newsletter.
