About Event

We're thrilled to announce our next online event on space technology and design, and our speaker, Arkadiusz Radek, opening question says it all:

"Do you mind working on a product used by only 10 people?" – This question came up when I was applying for work at ICEYE. While many designers would probably have turned down such a project, I said yes and haven't regretted it for a second. What we do here has a real impact on the ground for millions of people affected by floods, hurricanes, and wildfires every year.

Join the session to see what design challenges we are facing and how we are leveraging design as a strategic element to create impactful products.

Arek is a seasoned design leader with 12 years of experience. He spent the last 4 years at ICEYE developing products used by natural disaster response teams worldwide. These products help mitigate risk before an event, adjust response during, and assess loss after a natural catastrophe. He's also a co-creator of Fundament, a product design newsletter.
