Recap the kuu village

​​「空（kuu）」── すべてを受け入れ、何ものにも縛られない余白。

​​kuu village は、デジタルとフィジカル両方の技術を取り入れた新しい社会システムの構築を試みる、大胆かつ挑戦的な実験です。
10月初旬に奈良県月ケ瀬で行われた1週間のco-livingプログラムを通して、参加者たちは話して考えるだけではなく、新しい世界観と技術に対して確かな手応えを得ることができました。

​このRecapイベントでは、私たちが何を目指してこのプロジェクトを始めたのか、第一回に参加した各専門領域の実践者たちが何を感じたのかをひらきます。

​概要

​10/1–10/7、奈良・月ヶ瀬（ONOONO）で約40名が生活を共にし、オフグリッド×分散型テクノロジーで「自律・協働・循環」を同時に試す一週間の実験を行いました。

​サウナ小屋のセルフビルド、井戸掘り、竹の採集と炭焼き、OpenStreetMapの更新、地理情報へのなめらかなアクセス制御システムのプロトタイプ、分散コミュニティでの貢献記録と報酬分配、コミュニティ通貨、DAOhausをつかったオンチェーンガバナンス、地域の皆さんとの大交流会まで——。

“Kuu” — a space that embraces everything, bound by nothing.

​kuu village is a bold, challenging experiment to prototype new social systems by weaving together digital and physical technologies. Through a one-week co-living program held in early October in Tsukigase, Nara, participants didn’t just “talk and think”—they gained tangible, hands-on traction with new worldviews and technologies.

​At this ReCap event, we’ll open up why we started this project and what practitioners from diverse fields felt during the first edition.

​Overview

​From 10/1 to 10/7 in Tsukigase, Nara (ONOONO), about 40 participants shared daily life and ran a one-week experiment testing autonomy, collaboration, and circularity through an off-grid × decentralized tech lens.

​From building a sauna hut from scratch, well digging, bamboo harvesting and biochar, updating OpenStreetMap, and prototyping a seamless access-control system for geospatial data, to contribution logging and reward distribution in a decentralized community, a community currency, DAOhaus based onchain governance, and a large community gathering with local residents—we put ideas into practice.
