You Think You Can Joke?
You Think You Can Joke? is a fun, no-pressure comedy open mic by Comedy Kix where fresh and regular comics take the stage to test jokes, try new material, and make the room laugh. Come perform or grab a drink and enjoy a night of live comedy.
Invite your people! 🎤
Comedy is always more fun in a full room. We request comics to bring a few friends along - having familiar faces in the audience makes that first time on stage a lot more fun, and a lively crowd makes everyone’s set better. The more people in the room, the better the energy!
Fee - For audience, a minimum spend of AED70 applies. Performers are requested to order at least one beverage/drink. You get 20% discount.

Ground Rules for the Mic 🎤
To keep the night fun, respectful, and running smoothly:
Respect the mic – Give every comic your attention and allow them to perform without interruption.
Stick to your time – Fresh comics get 3 minutes and regular comics get 6 minutes. When you are flashed with the light, you have 1 minute to finish.
Off-limit jokes – No jokes about the UAE, its leadership, government, laws, national symbols, or sensitive local matters. Avoid material targeting religions. No directly vulgar sexual material. Graphic sexual references and excessively vulgar sexual content are not allowed. No hate or personal attacks or attacks on people based on nationality, race, gender, or identity.
Original material only — Perform jokes you have written yourself. Using another comedian’s material or jokes copied from the internet is strictly prohibited.
Breaking the rules has consequences – If you break the content rules while performing, you may be removed from the stage immediately, even in the middle of your set. Repeated or serious violations may also result in no stage time at future shows.
Check in early – Performing spots are first come, first served. Arrive early and confirm your spot before the show.
Support the room – Laugh, clap, encourage the other comics, and help make this a good room for both new and experienced performers.
Respect the space – Respect the venue, organizers, fellow comics, and staff. Be kind to servers and handle all venue property and equipment with care — no mic dropping.
