Join us for a special Oktoberfest-themed edition of our Founder & Funder Mixer, hosted at the Velocity Innovation Arena in partnership with RBCx.
We’re bringing together an incredible mix of early-stage founders, and VCs for an afternoon of real connection in the heart of Waterloo’s innovation community.
We know big, noisy networking events aren’t everyone’s style, so we’re keeping it focused and founder-friendly. Startups will have the opportunity to sign up for short, curated 1:1 meetings with investors - genuine conversations, real connections, no beer-hall shouting required. Stick around after for casual networking and festive vibes.

Who should register? (Founders)
If you're an early-stage founder planning or actively raising pre-seed or seed funding, this event is a great way to connect with multiple investors in one afternoon.
Priority will be given to startups that:
Submit a pitch deck
Have an MVP
Can demonstrate traction (revenue not required)
Limit one registrant per company.
Who should register? (Investors)
We ask each investor firm to send one representative to ensure space for all participants.
All attending investors will be scheduled for 1 hour of 1:1 meetings with founders as part of the event.
Please let us know if you need access to meeting or workspace at Velocity before the event—we're happy to help accommodate visitors from out of town.
