BuilderUp is for anyone who builds things: writing code, developing hardware, designing interfaces, creating products. If you haven’t built anything yet but are serious about starting, you’re welcome too.
Come hang out with other builders. Whether you’re running a startup, joining one, investing in one or still deciding whether to start one, drop in, grab a drink and meet the founders, builders, operators and investors shaping Boston’s startup scene. Talk about what you’re working on, what you’ve shipped and what you’re stuck on.
Bring your stories. Everyone has a project worth talking about, even the cool but completely useless thing you built just for fun. Those usually make the best conversations.

About the hosts
LightHouse is an entrepreneurial community and venture studio deeply rooted in the Boston ecosystem. Through weekly events, hacker houses, and other initiatives, we connect founders with capital and industry resources, building a platform that kickstarts and supports our members throughout their entrepreneurial journeys.
We stay at the forefront of emerging trends and promising ventures. To date, we have hosted 40+ events and connected more than 500 founders, scholars, and other members of the innovation ecosystem.
AdventureX is the largest hackathon in China’s history, held at the Lakeside Innovation and Research Center in Hangzhou. Its mission is to empower more young people in China to dedicate their lives to changing the world. Within 2026, AdventureX brought together more than 800 creators for 120 hours of intensive building, joined by over 150 exhibitors and more than 300 judges and guests, getting 1M RMB in prizes, 600K RMB in participant subsidies, and receiving 20M RMB in software and hardware development support.
