Join us for an intimate evening at Impact Hub Penha with the Lisbon AI Safety Hub, a local community working on the largest risks of AI. We'll hear short talks from people working on AI risk and governance, then open the conversation: what's actually happening with your data, what the EU AI Act does (and doesn't) cover, and why researchers think this technology is different from anything we've built before. No technical background needed.

Caleb Price - The Global View · Lisbon AI Safety Hub. Came to AI safety from outside tech after taking a hard look at the evidence. Canadian, living in Lisbon for the past year.
Orlando Torres - The Non-profit Voice · Lisbon AI Safety Hub. Non-profit founder with years of experience in effective altruism organizations, bringing a Global South perspective.
Frederico Luz - The Local Voice · Lisbon AI Safety Hub. Born and raised in Portugal, studied AI at university and knows the research inside out.
Hana Ahriz - The Host & Moderator · Founder of Pixels & People. Worked in tech for the last decade as an entrepreneur and event leader.
