About Event

Limits are often misunderstood as being about power, discipline, or “getting kids to listen.” In reality, well-set limits are one of the most supportive tools we have as parents. They create predictability, reduce stress, and help children feel safe.

In this workshop, Dr. Chloe reframes limits through a developmental lens, helping parents understand why boundaries matter and how to set them in ways that build cooperation rather than constant negotiation. We’ll explore the difference between supportive limits and controlling responses, why over-explaining can backfire, and how calm, consistent boundaries actually strengthen connection.

Parents will leave with:

  • A clearer understanding of how limits support emotional regulation and development

  • Language that feels kind, firm, and sustainable

  • Strategies for holding boundaries without power struggles or guilt

  • A renewed sense of confidence in saying “this is how we do things”

This conversation is designed for parents who want fewer daily battles and more trust, clarity, and calm, without resorting to rigidity or fear-based approaches.
