Community Portraits: For the Love
**50% of all proceeds will be donated to the Kaiser Hospice Program in Vallejo.**
Join photographer and director Saréya Shorter (réya photography) at Studio Luz for pop-up portraits honoring the life and legacy of her grandfather, Roland L. Shorter, Jr. (9/10/1935 – 8/16/2026)—devoted family man, beloved husband and father, and U.S. Navy veteran.
In the wake of his passing, Saréya's found deep comfort in the many family photos captured across different seasons of her grandfather's life. They serve as a powerful reminder of why she fell in love with photography: its ability to document our stories and the people we cherish—an heirloom for generations to come.
Saréya would be honored to capture a studio portrait for you, a lasting memory of who you are in this exact moment in time. Knowing that professional photography isn't always accessible, these reduced-rate portraits are a special community offering. Come out for an afternoon celebrating art while giving back.
