Ralph Loops are the best (for LLM coding): live demo/presentation
I am jakesimonds.com. I have built jklb.social and various other small projects (see tools.jakesimonds.com & my blog jakesimonds.leaflet.pub) with the Ralph method, and I want to share what I love about it with the NS community.
Ralph loops (https://ghuntley.com/loop/) are about rigorously managing the context window & engineering away as many of the limitations of LLMs as you can. Geoffrey Huntley does some great talks about it, if you youtube search for him. It's legit enough that Anthropic added a Ralph plug-in. I think Geoffrey is really onto something. Thinking in Ralph loops has changed how I think about LLMs and coding (in a good way).
WHAT TO EXPECT:
40-ish minute live demo + talk.
20 minute questions + hopefully share out where others can share LLM strategies they like.
NON-ENGINEERS WELCOME
Ralphing is also (in my opinion) more beginner friendly/easier to get your head around than a lot of other methods (like Steve Yegge's Gastown, for example). So novices/non-engineers are very welcome to attend too! (We're kinda all novices in that these frontier LLMs have only been around since November)
