IIA Davos Walking Tour with AI Innovators
2nd Annual 40 minutes social tour will start at 15:00 on the 20th of January at the entrance of the IIA MIT/Stanford Dome.
You will hear from Cezmi Akdis, a Davos citizen, Director of the Swiss Institute of Allergy and Asthma Research, Davos about the science history of Davos, how tuberculosis sanatorium treatment started in 1850s in Davos.
Davos has been a significant place for renowned authors, particularly Thomas Mann, who wrote his novel The Magic Mountain there, reflecting the sanatorium culture of the early 20th century.
