Founder Room: Life Sciences- Building the Team
Founder Room is a curated, founder-led community for entrepreneurs building companies in British Columbia.
Building a company can be rewarding, but it can also be isolating. Founder Room creates space for honest conversations among people navigating many of the same challenges — fundraising, hiring, partnerships, commercialization, leadership, and growth.
No presentations. No pitches. No panels.
Just candid discussions, practical insights, and the opportunity to learn from peers who understand the realities of building a company.
July Theme: Building the Team
This month we'll explore:
When is the right time to make key hires?
What should be built in-house versus outsourced?
How do founders attract great talent with limited resources?
When should advisors, executives, and boards enter the picture?
How does the founder role evolve as the company grows?
Attendance is intentionally limited to 12 founders to preserve the quality of discussion and ensure everyone has an opportunity to contribute.
Applications are reviewed to maintain a balance of company stages, experiences, and returning and new participants.
Thank you to RBCx for sponsoring the Founder Room series and to adMare BioInnovations for hosting this session.
