Business and Beer - Presented by Startup Women NC
Old-school networking. New-school thinking. Always on tap.
Business and Beer is your new favorite throwback to when deals were made over drafts, and ideas flowed as freely as the pours.
Each session packs 40 minutes of sharp, practical business wisdom- served casually, not corporate. It’s totally free and open to anyone: the business-minded, the business-curious, and the business-adjacent.
This month’s session is titled “Partnerships: The Value of Going Together,” led by Raven O'Neal and Rachel Anderson, cofounders of Startup Women NC. Raven and Rachel are going to have a candid discussion of partnerships they've had that have worked, have struggled through, and have gone down in flames. They'll also discuss what the keys are to finding partners aligned to your business's success, and the traps to avoid.
Raven O'Neal is a 5x startup founder, currently operating four projects helping women in business win. She’s contributed to over $100 million in business growth and guided more than 250 founders. Her work doesn’t just support women; it transforms how they build, fund, and scale ventures.
Rachel Anderson is a serial entrepreneur with more than 15 years of business development experience. She works with companies to build teams that focus on profits and resilience, as a way to support employees in their human elements, both in and out of work. Her book Being Human (Centric) breaks down what it takes for leaders to create cultures that thrive.
