About Event

Most women in product have been given the wrong map.

We’re taught that career growth is a performance game.

  • Work hard.

  • Deliver exceptional results.

  • Communicate clearly.

  • Be confident.

But if performance alone determined advancement, we’d all be further along than we are.

Let me show you where rising actually happens, because it’s not where you’ve been looking.

Strivers can rise, once they stop confusing “effort” with “actual advancing” in the workplace and learn to read the system.

Knowing the system is the bridge between “striving” and “rising.”

When we don’t understand how that system works, we often mistake a literacy gap for a confidence gap.

Your “stuckness” is a literacy gap, not a confidence gap.

Join Kalpa Gupta, a former Product Leader at Zelle and American Express, helping women in product navigate the career game that was never explained to them and that’s now changing faster than anyone expected.

In this session, she’ll share the “C” in her A.P.C. framework — Constraints. The third part of my framework: the ability to see, hedge, and convert constraints instead of becoming trapped by them.

Because one of the most important forms of systems literacy is understanding constraints, not as barriers, but as forces you can learn to read, navigate, and leverage.

This is how she navigated constraints - restructures, immigration challenges, leadership churn, layoffs, infertility & parenting, aging parents, and role redefinition, while continuing to grow my impact and career.

Your takeaways from this workshop:

  • You’re running a performance game inside a system that’s actually a power game.

  • How to identify the hidden constraints shaping who advances - and who doesn’t.

  • 3 practical steps to Work the Constraints: See the Constraint → Hedge the Constraint → Convert the Constraint.

  • Why you should shop for the boss—not just the job—for your next opportunity

  • How to identify which parts of your career are being disrupted by AI—and which uniquely human strengths you need to master to stay relevant and thrive.

You’ll leave with a new map to navigate your career, one that helps you protect your agency even as AI reshapes the future of work.
