Build a ChatGPT Agent live with me
OpenAI just released GPT 5.5, the latest model to top the benchmarks. But more importantly, they're giving it a place to actually be powerful. It's called Workspace Agents.
Until now, ChatGPT could answer questions, write text, and help you think. With Workspace Agents, you can build a custom AI agent for your team, directly within ChatGPT. Your agent connects to the tools your team already uses, like Gmail, Drive, Slack, and more. And it does real work, using your actual files, data, and accounts.
For most teams, this is a step-change in what ChatGPT is for.
In this session, Jan will build a Workspace Agent from scratch, live, and show you exactly how to set up your own.
You'll learn:
What Workspace Agents are and how they're different from regular ChatGPT
How to connect your agent to the apps your team already uses (Gmail, Drive, Slack, and more)
How to give it the right instructions and files so the answers are useful, not generic
How to set permissions so your team can use it safely
How to trigger your agent from inside Slack, where your team already works
By the end, you'll have a working blueprint you can adapt to any team workflow. CRM, ops, recruiting, support, anything where information lives across multiple tools.
NOTE:
Workspace Agents are available on ChatGPT Business, Enterprise, and Edu plans. If you're on Plus or free, come anyway. You'll see exactly what an upgrade unlocks, and most of the patterns apply to Custom GPTs too.
