​Join us at uOttawa for the One Shot Prompting Challenge, a fast-paced mini hackathon featuring backboard.io. Meet other builders, grab pizza and drinks, and put your prompting skills to the test.

​The challenge

​You’ll have 30 minutes to craft and submit one prompt to an LLM and show us the product it generates. No follow-up prompts—make your one shot count.

​Judges will review the submitted products and select five finalists to present to the room. All five finalists receive prizes!

​The evening

• ​6:00–6:30: Check-in, pizza, drinks, mingling, and an introduction to Backboard and the challenge.

• ​6:30–6:40: Rules, setup, and questions.

• ​6:40–7:10: The One Shot Prompting Challenge.

• ​7:10–7:25: Submission review and finalist selection.

• ​7:25–7:45: Top five finalist presentations.

• ​7:45–7:55: Prizes and photos.

• ​7:55–8:00: Wrap-up.

​Bring your laptop, charger, and your best ideas.
