​🤓 About the Expert!

​Christina Hayes served as Executive Director of Americans for a Clean Energy Grid, a diverse nonprofit coalition of customers, utilities, developers, environmental advocates, and labor interests who support the development of high-capacity regional and interregional transmission to most cost effectively and reliably build out the grid.

​An energy attorney for more than 20 years, she previously served as Vice President for Federal Regulatory Affairs for Berkshire Hathaway Energy, as well as an attorney with FERC, where she was an advisor to Chairman Jon Wellinghoff. A native Oregonian, Christina has also served as an administrative law judge at the Public Utility Commission of Oregon.

​Christina earned a law degree from the University of Oregon and a bachelor’s degree from the College of William and Mary.
