Autumn Workshop: Code Your First Game!

​Code your very first game, no experience needed!

​Ever wondered how video games are actually made? This is your chance to find out. We’ll build Flappy Bird from scratch in Unity, together, step by step.

​This workshop is for absolute beginners. You don’t need to know how to code, you don’t need to have used Unity before, and you don’t need to be a CS student. If you’ve never written a line worked with Unity before or haven't touched it in a long time, you’re exactly who we made this for. Everyone is welcome!

​How it works
An instructor will be coding live on the big screen, and you’ll code along with him on your own laptop. We go at a relaxed pace, explain every step, and nobody gets left behind. If you get stuck, just raise your hand and some other instructors will be there to help you out.

🎮 Your very own working Flappy Bird game that you built yourself
🧠 An understanding of how it works, so you can keep upgrading it at home with new obstacles, power-ups, sounds, or whatever you dream up

​⏰ Timing:

• ​17:00: Setup help. Don’t have Unity yet or not sure how to install it? Come at 17:00 and we’ll get you set up.

• ​17:15: Workshop starts. Already have Unity installed? Feel free to come at 17:15.

You’ll need Unity installed on your laptop to code along.
