Lovable Future Founder Series - Los Angeles: Tech Together Edition
What if you and your kid made a video game together?
What if your grandmother shipped her first app?
What if your bestie group finally built that idea you've been talking about over wine for forever?
What if you took a day to learn something new alongside the people you love most?
Tech Together is a day for building with your people — whoever they are. Families, friends, found family. Come with your daughter, your dad, your college roommate, your retired mom who keeps asking what AI is. Build something side by side, build something together, or each build a piece of something bigger.
Future Founder Series is Lovable's global event tour showcasing a new generation of builders — people turning ideas into real businesses using Lovable. Lovable is an AI-powered platform that lets anyone build real software through conversation — no coding required. Events are happening in cities around the world. Each one is founder-focused, hands-on, and locally hosted. This is the Los Angeles edition — and this one is for all ages.
Every founder started somewhere. Most of them didn't know they were founders yet. This day is for the future founders — the 8-year-old with five projects on her Lovable workspace who doesn't know she's a CEO yet, the mom who's been solving problems her whole life and never thought to build for it, the best friends who keep saying "someone should make an app that..." without realizing they're the someone.
Future founders, all of them. Future founders, all of you.
The origin story: on a flight from LAX to Chicago, I sat next to a 7-year-old named Eddie. He enthusiastically showed me books he'd written about a character called Poop Bob (very on brand for a 7 year old boy.) I asked if he wanted to make Poop Bob a video game. His eyes got WIDE - I thought they might pop out of his head. Between Los Angeles and Chicago, on airplane wifi, together we built Poop Bob's Wrestling Adventures on Lovable — seven levels, all his imagination. I explained how to prompt, he told me his vision and ideas - we took turns typing. His mom watched the whole thing. She didn't know what Lovable was before I asked if it was ok to build with him. She learned about AI through her kid's excitement. When they got home, she helped Eddie sign up for Lovable and invited me to his workspace. He hasn't stopped building since. He's got seven projects on his workspace right now.
That's the energy this event is built on. Anyone can build.
Here's how the day will run:
Doors open with welcome and intros, a demo and walkthrough of Lovable for anyone brand new, and then we build. Teams, duos, solo — whatever works for your crew. We'll have mentors floating the room to help with prompts, troubleshoot, and spark ideas. End of day, whoever wants to share what they made, gets the floor.
Who this is for: → A mom and her teenager who want to try building something together → A dad who keeps hearing about AI and wants to see what the fuss is about — with his kid as the teacher → Best friends who've had an app idea forever and never had a place to start → A young professional who wants to bring their retired parent into something new → A group of friends who just want to learn something together on a Sunday → Literally anyone, any age, any background
Hosted by:
Lovable Ambassador, Christina Karaba — Founder/CEO of yourcore (built entirely on Lovable with zero technical background). If a 50+ year old mom who doesn't know python from javascript can build a working app, so can YOU. And your 7-year-old. And your mom. And your grandfather.
Adroit — on-site for hands-on tech support so nobody gets stuck.
