AI Work Design: Building AI Systems For the Work Your Company Needs to Do (Repeat of Monday)
A Note Before You Register
This workshop is designed for professionals who are already comfortable using conversational AI — tools like ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Google Gemini, or Claude. If you can write a prompt and work with AI output, you are in exactly the right place. This is not an introduction to AI. This is the next step.
If you are brand new to AI tools, we warmly encourage you to spend a few weeks getting comfortable with a conversational AI tool first — then come back and join us. This experience will mean so much more when you are ready.
What This Evening Is About
Most professionals have learned how to use conversational AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or Microsoft Copilot. This AI made work easier — but now there is another challenge. Companies have more AI tools, more pilots, more disconnected automations, and more people stitching workflows together by hand.
The opportunity is to learn how to design AI systems for the way your business works — across your files, systems, processes, and teams — without forcing your work into rigid tools or launching costly transformation projects.
This advanced training introduces the next step: AI Work Design — a practical approach to breaking complex business work into coordinated AI systems.
This June 8th, CR8.io is hosting an exclusive evening at the AWS Nashville facility featuring the next phase of education content from Dr. Jules White, Senior Advisor to the Chancellor on Generative AI and Professor of Computer Science at Vanderbilt University. Dr. White has educated over 500,000 learners worldwide on generative AI, and this evening is an exclusive preview of his next core course.
Participants will learn how to move beyond prompts by identifying the core types of work AI can perform inside a business — computing, organizing, displaying, engineering, and reasoning — and see how those workstreams can be translated into multi-agent workflows where different agents work in parallel across files, tools, and systems under human direction.
At the core of the session is the C.O.D.E.R. Framework, developed by Dr. Jules White at Vanderbilt University. For this mini-course, Allen Karns, Chief AI and Technology Officer at Vanderbilt University's Amplify GenAI Innovation Center, will teach the framework. Then CR8.io's Andrew Fraser will show how multi-agent workflows come to life in MAJK.
The evening closes with an optional two-hour buildathon where you build something real on MAJK with assistance and guidance from the CR8 team before you leave.
The C.O.D.E.R. Framework
Presented by Allen Karns · Vanderbilt University's Amplify GenAI Innovation Center · CR8.io
C.O.D.E.R. gives professionals a practical method for designing AI-native systems across five core modes of work:
C — Compute: Batch operations, transformations, calculations, and processing at scale
O — Organize: Structuring files, folders, information, and work inputs
D — Display: Creating dashboards, reports, visualizations, websites, and outputs
E — Engineer: Building pipelines, automations, integrations, and repeatable workflows
R — Reason: Research, analysis, synthesis, evaluation, and decision support
Together, these five modes form the foundation for designing coordinated AI systems — running multiple intelligent agents across multiple tracks, simultaneously.
What You Will Learn
By the end of the session, you will understand how to:
Move from conversational AI use to structured AI work design
Identify business areas that are good candidates for multi-agent execution
Use the C.O.D.E.R. Framework to map work across compute, organize, display, engineer, and reason modes
Break complex work into parallel streams of AI activity
Design AI teammates with clear roles, tools, permissions, and outputs
Think about human checkpoints, review steps, and control points
Use MAJK to begin building AI workflows that operate across files, applications, and systems
Core Promise: Bring one critical problem you want to solve or system you wish you could build. Leave understanding how to turn it into AI-managed work.

About MAJK
Unlike chat-based tools that help users discuss work, MAJK is designed to help users execute work — coordinating agents, tools, workflows, automations, and local files under explicit user control. MAJK is CR8.io's local-first AI platform for designing and running multi-agent workflows, built on AWS Bedrock and available on the AWS commercial marketplace. Every registrant receives a trial license as part of their registration — a $65 value that extends beyond the event so you can keep building.
CR8.io is also the company behind Amplify AI, another enterprise AI solution available on the commercial marketplace, built on AWS Bedrock.
Who Should Attend
This session is designed for professionals who already use AI and are ready to move beyond basics. It is especially relevant for:
Operators, analysts, and functional leaders in mid-sized companies
Technical and semi-technical professionals exploring agentic workflows
Business leaders evaluating how AI can create capacity without adding headcount
Teams that need practical AI execution but do not have the time or budget for large-scale consulting support
Professionals responsible for messy, repeatable, cross-system work that current tools do not handle well
Your Instructors
