Booked: Dating Night for Readers
Some of the best conversations you'll ever have start with "wait, you love that book too?"
Booked is a dating mixer for people who read. Everyone walks in holding a book that means something to them, and that book becomes the whole night: the reason to cross the room, and the thing that tells a stranger who you are faster than any bio ever could.
Here's how it works. We start as a full group, loose and low-pressure, and the night opens up from there. You'll move through small groups and easy prompts that straddle the book and the person, and by the end you're in the real conversations, the one-on-one kind. You never have to walk up to anyone cold. The books do the introducing, and we guide the whole flow, so you can just show up and enjoy it.
Your one assignment: bring a book that means something to you. The one that changed you, or that you'd stay up talking about. Any genre, no wrong answers.
Expect a warm room, wine and non-alcoholic drinks and treats from the shop, and a crowd of curious people who would rather talk about something real than swap job titles.
