ideas into action: q&a with councilmember dionne foster (dinner included)
Make friends who care about stuff at Soapbox Seattle, the city's most fun community space for climate action!
We're having a party for people who care about the planet. Same time, same place, every week. You're invited. Request a reparative ticket here if you need one.
What does action look like when it comes to labor and climate (and more)?
Join us for a moderated conversation and Q&A with Seattle City Councilmember Dionne Foster as we explore how local policy and community action can drive change — and what steps we can take to get involved.
The plan:
6-6:45pm: eat plant-based dinner and yap
7~8pm: moderated discussion and Q&A with Seattle city councilmember Dionne Foster
8-9pm: action stations + continued mingling
Doors open at 6pm. Arrive by 6:30 to eat before things get started. Announcements will begin at 6:45, and programming at 7.
This space is hosted by Soapbox Project, a nonprofit that creates joyful community structures to heal our climate anxiety and loneliness through expertly facilitated connection, learning, and action activities. Find your place in the climate movement with our online and in-person community!
