Bessone Studio

​Sat Oct 3: Artist Amy Bessone presents a one-day only installation of art + design entitled "Woman Tree Mask Monster X.3.26" including painting, sculpture, functional art, and ephemera.

​The show is hosted in coordination with LA Design Week/End in a historic 1926 industrial building in the Lincoln Heights neighborhood of Los Angeles.

​Amy Bessone (b. Bronx, NY 1970) is a visual artist.  After studying and working in Europe from 1989-2003, Bessone moved to Los Angeles. She currently works between Los Angeles and Western Massachusetts.

​Over the past 30 years, her work has been the subject of numerous exhibitions across the US and abroad.  In 2026, Bessone received a Guggenheim Fellowship.

​Bessone moves fluidly between painting and sculpture and across various media, to animate a colorful world inhabited by an iconography that is both personal and archetypal: woman, trees, masks, monsters.
