ACL Presents: The Altadena Reciprocity Project

Join us for a presentation on the materials available through the Altadena Reciprocity Project and how they can be used in your home. We'll walk through four product lines milled from Altadena's fire-damaged trees: engineered flooring, engineered cladding, 8/4 furniture grade lumber, and 6/4 millwork grade lumber. For each product, we'll cover what it is, where and how it's best used, and what to consider when planning a project around it. Guests will leave with a clear understanding of the practical use cases for each material, along with time for questions specific to their own home projects.

Angel City Lumber offers these products and related services on an ongoing basis, and we welcome all Angelenos, designers, architects, contractors, and homeowners. Whether or not you have a direct connection to Altadena, this presentation is a valuable opportunity to learn about these materials and how they can fit into your own projects.

After the presentation, we'll host a short discussion on how our fundraising efforts for the Altadena Reciprocity Project will help us bring this program to more families rebuilding after the fire.

******************************************************************

The Altadena Reciprocity Project was created in response to the devastating impacts of the Eaton Fire, which not only destroyed the community and homes but also damaged many local trees. To prevent this wood from going to waste, Angel City Reciprocity, a nonprofit organization under Section 501(c)(3), launched its inaugural initiative, the Altadena Reciprocity Project, to repurpose fire-damaged trees into usable lumber for Altadena residents.

Angel City Lumber is an operating partner of Angel City Reciprocity.
