About Event
come and carve communally a small object in wood guided by instincts, guided by conversation, by craft, by gumption and by gut
with others, with sound and silence, come to learn and practice, led by wood artist and teacher Ellie Richards, this is an experience designed for free form thinking and explorative carving. Leave more empowered to arrive at an unknown outcome, leave with a record of time and material
From Ellie:
Whittling wood has long been a pastime enjoyed by friends. Join me for a few minutes or hours out back at Home Guts, I’ll show you some safe techniques and hopefully you’ll get lost in the process and come out with something to treasure . . .
