MSG SILK / Open Studio/ Marsea Goldberg

​Come hang out at Marsea Goldberg's Silverlake studio and home on Sunday, October 4th, from 11 to 4, for an open studio celebrating MSG Silk. Expect a house full of color: ceramics, paintings, hand-painted textiles, quilts, pillows, and one-of-a-kind clothing, all made by hand and all telling the story of a career spent moving between art, fashion, and design.

​Marsea founded New Image Art, LA's longest-running DIY gallery, and for four decades she's been quietly shaping the look of West Coast fashion, designing prints and color stories for names like Prada, Stüssy, Jimmy'Z, and Quiksilver. She was even named California's top-selling textile print designer three years running. This open studio is a chance to see her step back into her own work, plus you'll find pieces from her personal art collection and new ceramics by Mission School artist Johanna Jackson scattered throughout the space.
